Gray Burnett was appointed to the Ottawa Fire Department June 3, 1922 at a time when his father was the Chief.
1916
He served in the Great War from 1915 to 1919. Being too young after coming back from serving in the war he had to wait til he was 21 years of age.

Gray Burnett passed away December 4, 1970.
Gray and Helen both passed away in 1970. They are interned at Capital Memorial Cemetery in Ottawa, Ontario
