There is a long story about the Chaudiere Banner, and the early citizens of Ottawa, then called Bytown, gathering funds to purchase a hand pumper around 1840.
In essence, it was the first publicly funded fire pumper in Ottawa.
We have a large parade banner with that Chaudiere Company pumper image that takes two people to hold up.
We have a smaller panel version of the Chaudiere Company pumper image that is about half size.
